groundbreaking and lots of love

Wowzers, am I ever behind on updating my blog! I did not realize that I had so many pictures on my camera that needed to be put on the blog, so here goes..... Way back in February, Scott participated in the ground breaking for the expansion of the American Fork Hospital. Scott is in charge of the multi-million dollar expansion and is so excited (and busy) about the project. It is going to be an incredible expansion for the hospital and I'm excited to see it come to together for him and the community.
Scott had a few minutes to speak and did a fantastic job. Below is a picture of the traditional "turning of the dirt." I think he looks so great, it made me so proud of him! He is standing next to the Hospital Administrator (CEO), Mike Olsen, on his left and then the nurse assistant administrator (same position as Scott, but over nursing), Lori Bertleson. Next to Mike is the Regional Administrator for the Urban South Region (the bosses boss :) ) Steve Smoot.

So proud of you honey!! You look awesome in a hard hat and suit and tie. Love you and I admire your hard work and dedication, to the hospital and your job, as well as to supporting our family.
Valentines Day 2013  - Feels so long ago that I can hardly remember what we did! All I know is that we have really cute boys. I love them so much! Valentines Day was slightly crazy for us. We kept it super simple. I had to have surgery that morning, so I gave the boys a little treat at breakfast and sent them to school and babysitters. Then Scott and I headed to the hospital, such a fun way to spend valentines day! Just kidding..... luckily, things went smoothly with the surgery and we enjoyed our day nonetheless.

At the end of February, Will had his first violin competition. He did a great job and earned a "superior" ranking from the judges. I was so proud of him. I'm amazed at how much he has grown in confidence through the violin. I'm so happy for Will, he is growing up so fast!!
