Scott took Eli to a Jazz game. Eli was beyond excited! The last basketball game that Scott had tickets to, he took Will. Eli was heart broken so we had been telling him that the next time would be his turn. Well, he was more than excited when his turn finally rolled around. He didn't waste any time rubbing it in Will's face, either. It was pretty funny actually. Will was not happy about it though and cried and said "It's not fair!" Fairness is a hard lesson to learn, especially when it's not going your way!
Eli, just being silly Eli
The boys ask constantly when we can go swimming at our pool. I keep telling them all the snow has to melt and it has to be really hot outside. They just keep begging and begging. So a couple weeks ago, I had a Relief Society activity on Saturday morning and Scott decided he would take the boys to the Rec center to go swimming. They loved it and had a blast. I love that my boys love the water and miss it!! That is how I was as a kid, too. After swimming, they decided to see if they could both fit in the lockers. Silly boys!
More of our silly Eli. He loves to make faces at the camera. He also loves to do karate moves with his hands.... here's the best of both.....
We put Will in ski school a couple weeks ago. We have been so excited for him to learn to ski. Scott is an avid skiier and grew up skiing all the time. So it was a dream come true for him to send his little man to ski school. We were nervous how Will would handle it, just because he can get frustrated with himself pretty easily. But to our surprise and thank heavens, he loved it! He did an amazing job!
Will did his ski school while Scott skiied. Scott would come check on him every once in awhile and each time, Will had improved a ton. By the end Will was turning and everything. Must be in his genes. They had a great time together. I love this picture (below) of the two of them, they are little twinners. We can't wait to take Will again and maybe go as a family!
I don't know why, but I was almost crying when Scott sent me pictures of Will skiing. It is just emotional to watch your kids grow up I think. He looks so big and yet so little at the same time. I love being a mom and having sweet boys and watching them learn new things. It's such a blast! I also love his little skiis. Such a cutie! Hopefully we have many more ski days ahead of us for our family, it's such a fun sport and something that we can all do together, we are excited to get back into it little by little.
