time for another update

Winter really seems to be dragging on and on around here! We find ourselves getting a little cabin fever every few days. So we have been trying to make the best of it. We are always so busy, sometimes I don't know where the time goes! Here's what we've been up to lately......
Indoor football. Eli's favorite shirt is his Alabama shirt.
 Road trips to Logan.
(not sure why the football pics were mixed up??)

Will seems to loose a tooth every other day! He is such a goof. I think first grade has really pulled him out of his shell. He is a funny kid!

Boys will be boys. And oh how they love to pull faces!

(Above) Will's cousin, Matt was baptized a few weeks ago. These two are good buddies! Just a year apart. It's hard to believe Will will be getting baptized next year!
My parents are home from their mission! Will and Eli enjoy having grandparents around again! It's been several months with both sets of grandparents on missions.

(Below) We've let Eli's hair grow for several months now. Last night we decided it was time for a clean cut. It is really hard to take care of when it gets so long and we were done. It is such a process, I thought I better document it. Also, Eli LOVES to make faces. They fit his personality so well, I love that he was pulling faces at me the whole time I was snapping pictures.
We have to start with a bath. We have to get his hair REALLY soaking wet. When we get it really wet, it expands and loosens the curls and tangles.

Then Dad has to comb it out as much as possible. This takes awhile. Like a long while.

Still combing. But hello, that face is to die for.

 Whoa. Ready to cut.

Random Will here in the middle of the hair cut session. He lost another tooth just a couple days ago. Now he has no top teeth! He has learned to whistle and is awesome at it!

Still cutting away, and Will just hanging out!

An hour into it and we are still buzzing away. How do you like that kung fu move? Actually he might be saying "Get that corn outta my face!" - Anyone know where that is from?

 Almost there!

One ginormous pile of curly tufts and a handsome little stinker with a new buzz. He was SO happy and said "I look like Dad!" and then he said "I look like a basketball player!"

He was pretty happy with the result. And today it has been nothing but kisses all around. I seriously have to squish him every time I see him. I can't believe how much older he looks with his hair short. Hair or no hair, he is so handsome!
Life is good. I have two of the sweetest children on the planet. They make me laugh every day, and they such good boys. Eli keeps me on the move constantly, but I love his vivacious personality. Will is doing great in school, he's reading and loving it! They are good friends, most of the time. Scott is busy at work, doing all sorts of important things. :) I'm busy with the boys, as well as teaching my class at UVU - which I love. Life is great, we are so blessed!
