fall and eli's birthday

A couple weekends ago the boys were out of school for fall break. Scott was up in Park City for a work meeting. We decided to meet him up there after his meeting. We had such a good time with the boys. First we went to dinner at a super yummy restaurant. Then we went and got a treat at a little bakery. After our bellies were full we took the boys to ride the Alpine Slide. It was GORGEOUS, and we had a blast!
It was the perfect time to see the leaves and the weather was amazing. I loved these pictures, and they are not even edited!

Ready to go! Will was mad at me because I was too chicken to go too fast. I guess I am becoming the worry wart mom! It was still super fun though, we had a great time.

Happy birthday Eli!! I can't believe you are FOUR?! Eli was excited for his birthday and talked about it for months! He was so excited about all the little things, like his balloons, picking out his cupcake and frosting, going to Target to pick a toy, etc. I love this age. And Eli is such a sweetheart. We had a really fun day celebrating his birthday!

10$ from Grandma! He was very excited about his very own money. And of course Will had to help him open everything.

Eli loves sweats, especially since that is what a lot of athletes wear. So he was super excited to open a new pair!

His next present was a BYU football helmet and uniform. He loved it and has worn it constantly since!

He also went to Target to pick out a toy and then when Will was out of school, we had our cousins over for pizza and cupcakes. Then we headed to Kangaroo Zoo. The kids ran around crazy and loved every minute! Eli really loved when everyone was singing to him. That was one thing he was really excited about before his birthday.

And.... the cupcakes were a success. He picked out the cake mix at the store and the frosting. They turned out pretty good and I think Eli probably ate 5 over the next couple of days.

After Kangaroo Zoo, we met up with Scott and took Eli to dinner at Blue Lemon (his choice!). We had such a fun day together. Eli is truly a blessing in our lives and we love that he is a part of our family. He is growing up so fast! He told me "Mom, when I turn 5 you can't pick me up anymore, I'm too big!" He's right, he is growing like a weed! We love you Eli!!
