Christmas Adventures!

For some reason, I'm having the hardest time getting my pictures to upload in order! Either way, we had a great Christmas season this year! We kicked off the kids school break with a ride on the Polar Express! We met up with our friends the Jory's and their cute boys. The Polar Express was a lot of fun. They sang songs, passed out hot chocolate and cookies, and we even got a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. I think the funnest part for the boys was being with their friends!

On Christmas Eve, we did our traditional Temple Square visit. We like to visit the Grand America in downtown Salt Lake first, it's warm and they have so many fun window displays for the kids. They have a life size Gingerbread house and a little scavenger hunt for the kiddos. We had a lot fun looking at the window displays and eating our yummy treat!

After the Grand America, we walked up to Temple Square. We invited Grandma and Grandpa to go with us. We had a fun time walking through City Creek and then over to Temple Square. We were there just before dark so we could see the lights come on.

While we were walking around Temple Square, we stopped in the JSMB for a little dinner. We ate at the Nauvoo Cafe. It was tasty and warmed us up to keep walking around Temple Square. The sunset was SO pretty. It was lighting up the whole sky and making the temple all lit up. It was pretty incredible!

Christmas morning tired eyes! Will was SO excited for Christmas that he barely slept. He was awake from midnight until 4am! Little stinker. Then he finally fell back asleep and Eli had to wake him up at 7:30. So funny!

The boys are always so excited and happy with their stockings. Sometimes I think it's the most exciting part of Christmas! Haha! They had a fun time opening gifts. We kept it pretty simple this year. They each got a book, a DVD, a board game, some clothes, and a couple toys that they asked for.

Our house was so warm and cozy on Christmas morning. We have the best view out our living room windows and we could see everything all white with snow. It was SO pretty!

After opening gifts, we had a yummy breakfast. We had Grandma and Grandpa over for breakfast as well as our friend Leonard. After breakfast we just relaxed adn then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's clubhouse to swim, play games, and have dinner. After dinner we went to see a movie. The boys loved it. We saw Night at he Museum III. It was super funny and we had a lot of fun. Krista and her family came with us.

 More Polar Express! Crazy boys!!

Oh man, I love this picture (above) so much. The Jory's are our favorites and we always have so much fun with them. I love that we can just be ourselves with them!

It was a memorable Christmas. I feel so blessed for all that we have. Our new beautiful home and my sweet boys. Life couldn't be better! We truly are blessed. I'm so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. For his birth, his life, and his atonement for us. He is THE best gift ever given. We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives and to have our families forever! Christmas time is the best!
