Well, it's November and time to catch up the blog! It has been several months since I posted, and we have had a lot of fun things going on the past few months. In August, school started. In September we moved. In October, Eli turned FIVE! And of course we celebrated Halloween. We've been busier than ever, and having a great time. Here's my catch up... and sorry about my out of order pictures!
My big boy starting THIRD grade. I couldn't believe that my boy was getting so big! He was very nervous to start at his new school, but he did great. He was so brave. I cried the whole way home! For the first 6 weeks of school, we had to drive him out to Eagle Mountain every day. Then Eli started preschool and I was going out and back 2-3 times per day. It was crazy!!
Halloween is always fun with cousins!! We had a fun Halloween dinner with Krista and her family, and then the kids went trick-or-treating together. They had so much fun doing it with cousins. We didn't think we would have trick-or-treaters at our new place since we are the only house, so it was fun to have somewhere to go.
Look at these spooks! Kayla (yellow M&M), Grandpa (old man!), Ali (Elsa), Zac (bat), Eli (Captain america guy), Matt (BYU football player), Will (Darth Maul)
Our spooky Jack-o-lanterns!!
We had a blast carving our pumpkins! Will especially liked pulling out all the guts! :)
ELI TURNS FIVE!!
Eli asked if he could have a football party for his birthday. So we invited some friends and family and had a tailgating party. We played football games, ate football food, watched football on TV, and had a great time! Above: Eli and Aliyah Jai (Eli's biological sister)
Of course we had football cake!
Eli and Ali - cute cousins
We played lots of party games, football bingo, hot potato with a football, and even went outside to play tag. The kids loved it and Eli loved being the center of attention!
Eli and grandpa are football buddies! They are always loving to watch football games together. We feel really lucky that we get to live so close to them!
Over the Labor Day weekend, we took a drive to Brian and Krista's cabin for the day. It was so beautiful to see the leaves all changing!
The kids loved playing their "clubs" and their forts.
This picture is out of order, but this is Eli's first day of preschool! He has had such a fun time in preschool, loves his teacher and loves making new preschool friends!
At the cabin we saw several moose!!!
Zac and Eli - best cousins
More from my handsome guy on his first day of school!
We had a busy Fall, but have loved being in our new house. We have to pinch ourselves that it is really ours sometimes!! The views are beautiful and I love the natural light we get to enjoy everyday from our big windows. Moving in was busy, as usual, but we are finally getting settled. There are lots of little projects here and there, but it will all get done eventually! It has been great being so close to the school, Will can just walk home now! We are getting acquainted with people and really enjoy our new ward. Life is good and we are so incredibly blessed!
